The British Isles are troubled. Some twenty years have gone by since the death of Arthur Pendragon. The kingdoms of Britain bicker and fight. At the same time, the isles are beset by fierce Viking raiders. Four adventurers will discover an ancient evil, and hopefully, through their bravery, be able to stop it.

About the game

The A Tale of Bravery game is inspired by tabletop role-playing games. It is story-driven and more immersive than just a “dungeon crawl”. The choices you make will affect your adventures.

You will be experiencing true co-op in engaging adventures. You will decide the ultimate fate of your player character. Your choices will affect your player characters’ development and abilities throughout the game.

Yes. The Target of the spell will continue to move towards the square that currently is the farthest away from the Caster as long as the Magic Spell is affecting the Target. Because the Caster can move, the square the Target flees to might change. If the target should be cornered and/or Pinned during that time the target will not perform any Attacks.
No. Opponents will not leave the burning square unless their Behaviour prompts them to do so. This can happen if they, for instance, should change Target or their current Target should move

Yes, but not really. Player Characters and Companions are considered to always succeed in their check versus the DL if they are unwilling. If the Player playing the Player Character or controlling the Companion doesn’t want to be the Target of the Switch Places Magic Spell, it doesn’t have any effect.

Yes. Areas that are part of a  Flooding only prevents spells that cause Burning Fires to take effect (such as Greek Fire or Trail of Fire). 

All Opponents have access to the Unarmed skill. See the rulebook pages 21 and 22, under the heading Brawls. Companions and Opponents use their Attack Value but attack using Unarmed instead of their regular weapon. The damage is 1 + ES.

No. Retinue cards that are in the Party remain at their Experience level even after the Opponent and Retinue Level is raised. They remain with the Party until they are dismissed from the party.

If you are unable to decide you should put all eligible Equipment cards from the Party in a pile and draw one randomly. Discard that card and return the other cards to the respective Player Character.

Yes, all summoned creatures remain in the Battle until they loose all their Hitpoints or until the end of the last round of the duration for the Magic Spell.
